About Jammin' with James
Jammin’ with James Therapy is a mobile physical therapy practice that allows for children/young adults (0-21 years of age) to receive the physical therapy services they need in the environments that mean the most to them. Those environments can mean the home, the park/playground, the store, the library, etc. Through my years of practicing as a pediatric physical therapist, I have heard many times that the child is performing a certain gross motor milestone or functional activities in one environment but not another. This model will allow for optimal carryover of all gross motor milestones or functional activities into all environments, helping the child succeed in every area.

Core Values That Guide Our Care
Dynamic Movement Intervention
Therapeutic technique used in physical and occupational therapy to treat children with motor delay by improving automatic postural responses and promoting progress towards developmental milestones. The goal of DMI is to provoke a specified active motor response from the child in response to defined dynamic exercises prescribed by the therapist.
Pediatric Pelvic Floor Therapy
Focuses on helping children improve bladder and bowel control, reduce accidents, and strengthen core muscles through gentle, play-based exercises designed to support healthy pelvic function and confidence in daily life.
Developmental Delay Support
Interventions and programs designed to help children who are not reaching age-appropriate developmental milestones on time.
Balance and Coordination Training
Helps children develop stability, control, and confidence in their movements. Through guided exercises and play-based challenges, this therapy strengthens core muscles, improves posture, and enhances body awareness. It’s designed to help kids move safely and efficiently — whether they’re learning to walk, run, or simply play without fear of falling.
Gait Training
Focuses on improving how a child walks, runs, and moves safely through their environment. Using guided exercises and supportive equipment, therapists help strengthen leg muscles, improve balance, and correct movement patterns. This therapy promotes confidence, coordination, and independence in every step.
Strength and Flexibility Programs
Focus on building strength, flexibility, and confidence through guided, hands-on therapy. Each session helps improve muscle control, range of motion, and posture, giving patients the foundation they need for balance, coordination, and everyday movement — all in a fun and supportive environment.
Post-injury or Post-surgery Rehab
Focus on restoring strength, mobility, and confidence after injury or surgery. Guided by skilled therapists, each session blends gentle exercises with gradual progression to help rebuild stability and function. With consistent care and encouragement, recovery becomes a steady path toward feeling stronger and more capable every day.
Family Education and Caregiver Training
Focus on empowering families and caregivers with the knowledge and confidence to support progress at home. Through education, hands-on demonstrations, and open communication, therapists equip loved ones with practical tools and techniques to continue care beyond each session — creating a stronger, more connected path to lasting success.

Hi, I’m Daniel James, a passionate pediatric physical therapist and the founder of Jammin' With James Therapy. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA in 2019 and have been working with children and their families for over 6 years. In 2025, I proudly became a board-certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist, deepening my expertise and commitment to this field.
I created Jammin' With James Therapy to bring a fresh, fun, and functional approach to pediatric physical therapy. I believe that therapy shouldn’t be limited to a clinic—it should be woven into everyday life. Whether it's through play, routines at home, or movement in the community, my goal is to help kids build strength, confidence, and independence in ways that feel natural and joyful.
